Life member for last ten years, I never get calls for money or mail requests. Get First Freedom magazine, went to the NRA convention
last year in Dallas, had a blast. Did not like Wayne face plastered all over the place, should have used photos of members and young people.

They have to fight the battles they have a reasonable chance to win, so NJ and CA are often on the back burner when it comes to litigation.
NRA was instrumental along with local grass roots organizations to get national concealed carry and reciprocity in place.

Used to be a member. I left many years ago.
Constant harassment via phone, email & snail mail begging for money. When I tried to call in no one cared, they said they would take me off the contact lists.... never did.

At one time, they did good. But no more.
I think There are better smaller organizations that actually believe in fighting for our right. But they constantly get overshadowed by the NRA.

And I’m still getting calls emails & mailers....

Good stuff CFF folks!

I was telling my Dad about this poll, and he said that he received his membership card last month.... then they sent another card THIS WEEK. That is wasteful and inefficient.

Same thing with my daughter... I paid for her 3 years and her card ran out last month!! (That was a year ago).

Just keep your thoughts and reasons for/against NRA coming. I can categorize them for summation, but it is really interesting to see every.single.CFF member discuss the same feelings I have.

Not a member, let that lapse years ago when the Wayne crap just got deeper. I never gave them my phone number, thankfully, but I still get the renewals every month, which I promptly throw in the garbage. I get tired of all the fear mongering they pull, and trust us, we know it's bad out there, but I guess that's their way to get people riled up so the money keeps pouring in......wait, are we talking about the NRA or Info Wars, lol.

I am a member and hold many certifications. I became an instructor to bring more shooters into the fold, not for personal financial gain. Over the last few years, the NRA has dumped on it's dedicated instructors and changed it's programs to eliminate us and increase their own bottom line.

The only money they receive from me now are certification renewal fees. If this was not required to keep my job, they would get nothing.

Oh and, even if they do a complete "top down" reorganization and financial disclosure, I am not sure I would change my mind.

This is both my wife and myself. We have 10 plus certifications between the two of us. I have to keep the instructor certification to teach NC CCH.

I am a Life Member and almost upgraded to Benefactor but I'm withholding any either funds until Wayne is gone.

I asked them years ago to stop calling and they at least did that. Still get the ridiculous email and snail mail.

"They are like NASCAR, both of them are circling the drain."

just as Planned Parenthood.

all three got "too big for their britches."

I stopped donating them since 2018 when I was exhausted in my two-years long attempt to get voting sheet from them. They are simply suppressing votes and I also found that their membership support is just a bunch of arrogant and ignorant morons. All they need is money to waste. GOA, SAF and GRNC do way better job fighting for 2A.

I am extremely disappointed with what is happening right now, staring from support of Trump, who appears to be no better for 2A than Obama or even worse, support of unconstitutional bump-stock ban, and all the way to NRA-ILA scandal and so on.

I still hope that one day common sense will prevail and NRA will recover, but currently is a kind of the same swamp.

Life Member...dad got it for me when I was a kid.

I MIGHT support the NRA when:

1) They stop pushing for more regulations

2) They stop with their mantra of “enforce the existing gun laws on the books!” That’s bullsh*t, because nearly every law in existence related to firearms is unconstitutional.

3) They stop trying to con me out of my money for communist garbage trinkets. When you have meetings with Old Glory on a gigantic screen in the background, flying to Lee Greenwood played at eardrum-rupturing levels, don’t expect me to send you money for a buncha cheap-ass, low-quality sh*t that was manufactured in China.

4) Stop supporting political candidates with a history of stumping for and/or actually signing gun control legislation..Mitt Romney and John McCain are two prime examples.

5) Get rid of that MFing shyster Lapierre

6) Issue a formal apology to their members for using the RTKBA as a pawn in their for-profit game of 4D chess.

Final notice?

Guess you are going to be put on Double Secret Probation....

Saw today where 3 board members resigned, the current President said, "Don't let the door hit you on the way out".... They called for an audit of revenues and expenses from the Executive Committee.

The President said that they wrote the request through social media first and thus, was an attempt at a power grab...
