Which is the better choice? I have to upgrade before the 3G network is dismantled in December because my phone will no longer work. I'm not trying to get anybody to do the research for me, just trying to separate sales hype from facts. What are you working with? I have an IPhone4. I don't need the top of the line but will go that route if needed. So far everyone I Know except 2 people have IPhones.

I have both an IPhone 8plus and a Samsung Galaxy S9.

The Galaxy is my work phone. I've had apple phones for years, but for some reason the Samsung’s were more user friendly to me for work/office related stuff. Just my opinion.

My experience is the similiar to above , except Apple is for work and Samsung for personal use. I find i do most of "work stuff" on my personal phone with the exception of calls/texts. Id like to just have one phone, but some people like to send NSFW "shit" to me lol @Burt Gummer

Mine's the opposite- iPhone for work and android for my personal.
I recently got 2 refurbished phones from Amazon, Samsung S7 for the wife and LG G5 for me. If I were to do over, I'd get Samsung for us both, just more used to it I guess.

If you like to tinker, go Android. If you like things that just work outta the box, go Apple.

While I love ipods and the itunes software, Im an Android guy.
Had a Galaxy S5 for several years, and still use it, but recently switched to the S10 and LOVE it.

Easy to use, phenomenal battery, and you can add storage to it (vs the iphones which have no sd slot)

I have a macbook for work and an iphone, a macbook for home, 2 or 3 other mac's floating around. My personal phone is a note 9 because I hate iphones.

I have an iPad. I’m typing on it now. I don’t plan to buy any more Fruit (apple) devices primarily because they make it neigh on impossible to use a web browser that blocks ads. Android, install Firefox with ublock origin or other plugins of your choice.

I use an iPad for the internet, a MacBook Pro for my business, and an iPhone X as my phone. I love the simplicity of iPhone and apple devices. I even went so far as to buy a stereo for my truck with apple car play.

I use Mac at home and the I-stuff syncs with it effortlessly. If I'm on here and get a text it pops up on the computer screen and I can answer from here too.

Droid!!!!!!

The no SD card slot kills iPhone for me.
Droid lets you set your phone how YOU want it!

Got a Motorola G7 now running Android Pie 9.0 (the latest).

I have that feature with my Samsung tablet, but I do wish that was something on my laptop too, like the iphones/macs have. It's a nice feature

I lost respect for Apple when they tried to throw their 2 cents into the gender bathroom crap, trying to tell us to tolerant of the confused idiots. Shut up and make your Chinese phones.
Go Galaxy.

Went with the iPhone 8. Not much difference between the options so went with what I have some experience. Did not go with sprint as coverage really sucked and prices were higher in the long run. Felt their lower price advertisement was misleading as it reflected 18 months verses 24 months for other companies.
