Anybody waste their money on this one? I watched it at home this evening. I didn’t think it could be possible, but it was even dumber than the previews made me think it would be.

I kinda liked it till the last twenty minutes then it the stupid ending made me end up giving two thumbs down. I also watched it at home.so Im out no money.

Going to try and “living room” watch it this weekend if I find time.

I do find it interesting that some of y'all are so nonchalant about stealing.
I researched owning a box before buying and building one , as long as I don't download content or profit from it then it's a legal gray area if they ban ownership of the boxes like the did in the UK and truly make it illegal, then I'd get rid of it tomorrow. But they wont because theres too much money to be made from it.something like 4 million house holds use third party add-ons on kodi The makers of the add-ons say they're potected by the fair use doctrine sec 107 on copy righted material . Till the courts sort it out ,or I get a C&D letter from someone or Comcast blocks it from being streamed I'll continue to watch.

Are you willing to take one for the team in court being sued by the music and movie industries?
I didn't think so.

The story-acting was a joke..... Some scenes were really cool in imax.

You can rationalize all you like, it's still theft. The only ones claiming any sort of legal gray area are the add-on developers who throw out their "don't download or stream copyrighted material" disclaimers with a wink and a nod.

But is streaming unlicensed content online illegal? Jim Gibson, director of the Intellectual Property Institute at the University of Richmond law school, told Business Insider that streaming online content breaks the law in two cases.

When the user downloads even part of a file - called "pseudo-streaming" - it counts as a copy of copyrighted material, which is illegal. And w hen the user streams content as a "public performance" - namely, when it's shown to a substantial number of people outside the normal family circle and its close acquaintances - it also constitutes a copyright violation.

Outside of these cases, accessing unlicensed streamed content is generally legal.,
I didn't rationalize, like I said I researched this is is why they aren't breaking down doors and arresting people, @BigWaylon sorry for the thread hijack

No big deal. It’s more entertaining than the movie was.

Breaking the law is breaking the law. Sinning is sinning. So (to me) streaming a movie is the same legal/moral issue as breaking the speed limit or carrying where you’re not supposed to. I’m not going to worry about any of those three things. ;)

And for that matter, checking CFF while on the clock is theft. So we’re all guilty. And I’m not gonna sit here and say who is more guilty than somebody else.

...and it doesn’t justify anything, but I only watch movies I wouldn’t go see. So nobody is missing out on my money anyway. The other option is I just wouldn’t watch it at all. :D

I'm certainly no 'letter of the law' type. I speed and I'll carry into posted areas. For me, the line is harm to others. And theft is a harm. Illegal streaming, copyright infringement, etc. is a theft/harm either directly (I consumed something without paying) or indirectly by way of devaluing the property.

I'll bow out from here. It's an area where either we agree or we don't.

I really enjoyed this movie! I watched it a few weeks ago and I would still pay to see it in theaters to watch it on the big screen. I'm a huge DC and Marvel fan!! So if you love Jason Momoa and or superheroes then you should definitely watch it!

Just got around to watching it...

What is wrong with DC movies? Why are they so bad? Marvel movies are usually pretty good. The content is there. Why is DC vs Marvel comparable to Burger King vs Chick-fil-A in quality?

Aquaman is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Terrible CGI, terrible acting, terrible effects, even the soundtrack sucks. Could have been ok if they had made it intentionally campy.
