So releasing an illegal and a rape suspect back into the community without notifying ICE is just par for the course with our criminal sheriff.

The caveat, Sheriff McFadden resisting ICE, is exactly the campaign he ran on to defeat Sheriff Carmichael, who supported ICE. Meck County, most of 'em, is getting exactly what they voted for.

The mayor and county comm seem to support his actions by their silence.

what gets me is why aren't these assholes who release criminals into society aren't being prosecuted for endangerment if nothing else

When one or more of these ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS who are also FELONS because of their criminal history while in the USA
end up harming a family member of a well connected citizen of Charlotte, stuff will hit the fan quickly.

An easy fix for these ICE detainers that are not being honored because they lack a signature of a Judge.
Sign them as a form letter, physical or digital image, just like a Summons for Jury Duty is served.

I’m sure that sheriff will be the first one through the door when the confiscations start.

I would say he’s just negated any claim to “authority” he or his office may have had. People should refuse to obey, pay any tickets, anything. If his deputies want to get violent, well then treat them like any other common street thug.

This Jack Hole will not use resources to hold ICE detainers on 20+ known felons facing deportation for some nasty crap but setup a speed trap/toll booth back in the Spring in Cornelius (who has their own Police Dept) to make some quick cash. I hope that one of those ICE detainees he let go comes back and does something that effects him directly! Karma needs to be a bitch to him.
