Our son loaded up and headed off to Liberty University this past Wednesday. He'll still be around every other weekend or so and home (maybe) in the summer months.

It's kind of strange for us being alone in the house. But I'm sure it's going to have a few major benefits as well.:D

When the last child moved out (daughter) I could finally waltz my naked ass from the bedroom to the bath and back.

Soooooo, you are saying you need someone to drive your vehicles, eat your food, and borrow/shoot your guns??? I can start in the next 2 hours lol

Don't forget...
  • No resupply of ammo or even helping to reload any.
  • Not asking to help clean the guns just used.
  • Leaving dishes in the sink.
  • Asking for $20 for gas and only putting in two gallons
  • Saying to be quite in the moring cause they came in late and want to sleep.
Oh, you can keep those. The WHOLE house is my 'nekid room' now. :D

It's great, nice and quiet. They're still around frequently, but we have quiet. Excluding the dog and puppy show.
I've seen a lot of marriages fall apart at this stage. Now that what you two were focusing on is gone, learn how to date one's spouse again.
It was a lot harder on our relationship than we expected.

I can certainly see that. My wife and I started dating in high school in 1981 when she was 15.

We got married in 1988 and had our first child, Nicole, in 1994. Our son came along in 2000.

So we had 13 years together before having our first child. It takes work in a marriage but we both love each other and make it a point to keep things alive and healthy. We go out on dates quite frequently. Occasionally with some turds on here.:D

It won't take long and it will be like it is at my house. My wife lays on the couch, either playing games on her Ipad or knitting and I'm across the living room in my recliner looking at forums.

We've a similar situation, been together since 1982, married in '87, first son came along in '91.

Want me to send a couple over? I can spare them.
You got enough for everyone on the forum to have one don’t ya? At least all the subscribed members?

But, did they take their dog/cat with them ?
Our son moved out but somehow seemed to leave his cat behind ( just for now) a year ago.
