Feds seize Chinese gun parts

I noticed there were at least 2 knock-off booths at the last gun show, business must be good for them to expanding in this market.

Ok, so they caught one of how many shipments of mass produced “illegal” knock off junk and the very short article spends 4x the verbiage crowing about the exemplary federal agents.

"The stocks, muzzles and other parts were packed in their own containers on 3 ships that also carried household items, apparel, toys, and machinery."

Someone needs some education. No comment section that I saw either.
More household items.

I think that article is probably very incorrect.
There were no Chinese made weapons, just accessories.
They could be illegal if they say "Magpul" or "Daniel Defense" on them or some other protection. But I can order Chinese parts on Amazon or eBay all day long and I don't think they are illegal (other than receivers obviously). Maybe barrels or bolts are actually controlled somehow? The rest of it I am very skeptical about. I know we have laws about exporting gun parts, but imports?

Itar restricts import and export of weapons, parts, and even related documentation, without the proper procedures being followed. Probably that
