Check this auction out. Wow. 4 days left. Will be interesting to see how much it ultimately goes for.

Gunbroker. Type in 835323681 in the search bar. (I’d leave a direct link but not sure if that violates any forum rules. I don’t have any ties to the auction).

Keep us posted, curious if anyone actually bids 25k on it
That's a heck of a lot of money!

Im sorry, I misread it

As a long time gunbroker seller, you would be absolutely surprised what will bring crazy money if the parameters are set right. It's a gamble but auctions that start at a penny and have no reserve can really bring out the bidders if its an odd item or difficult to find. In this case, the sport models are rare and difficult to find, but... they typically don't bring 25K.

Apparently this pistol was originally sold around a year ago for $7,0000.

The p7M13 market has been crazy for awhile now. Years ago, they could be found languishing in gun store showrooms. Now they command $2k-4K depending on condition. This one is indeed rare. But $25k rare? Idk. The free market is a wonderful thing though.

Never really understood those pistols. I recall seeing them here in the BST for under 1K, and I didn't want one then. No way I'm paying 25K for one. haha.

Says the man with the 6.5 Glock....you'll never know how proud we were of you that night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've actually got one or two that would bring a bit more. That one was a duplicate for me. I'm losing some space for my personal stuff due to a remodel of our basement into a "mother in law suite" so I'm getting rid of some of my duplicates if they are in the same serial number prefix or extremely similar. Probably somewhere around 100 glocks that I'll be parting with, most older gen 1's and 2's of course. I'm just taking my sweet time doing it.

And you thought I was bad.

Remember, these are only my duplicates . I've collected these since I was of legal age to purchase, which was also when I became a FFL dealer. I made it a mission to own every serial number prefix that I could find of the Gen 1's. I made it a mission to own every prefix of the gen 2's that were Austrian proof marked, I made it a mission to own every commemorative, and I made it a mission to own every low production model I could find.

I've been very fortunate over the past several years to add most of what I wanted to my collection. After I got sick, I've slowed down a ton and haven't bought much recently. I've also been fortunate to know many other collectors that asked for first dibs on certain guns that they wanted if I ever parted with them.

If there is anything in particular you fellas are looking for, I probably have it. But if I only have one, I probably won't sell it. But if I've got more than one, I'll sell it to ya.

I'm sure like @Geezer and @BatteryOaksBilly , I was buying these before they were cool.

43CA72AD-8AF9-4F12-9601-653380FCD19D.png Hmmm. Not sure what happened but it’s down to $8,000 & reserve not met. Which one of y’all pulled your bid?

@Geezer probably owns more now than I have all together. I bought them for a different reason but certainly Not a more important reason. I admire folks that get into firearms and make it a life's pleasure.

Some of you may know Leroy Thompson. The S&W Registered Magnum was offered in 1/4 inch increments from 3 1/2 to 8 3/4. He has One of Each!!!!!! To put this in perspective, in my 60 year involvement with firearms, I have Seen 2 RMs.

When you get some payback for your time and money like you have Really makes me smile!!!!!

Something about this didn’t pass the smell test for me. The seller has almost no GB activity (4 transactions), demands a USPS Money Order and the bidders I saw this morning were also all fairly inexperienced on GB.

Maybe it’s something as innocent as a bidder who entered 25000 when intending it to be 2500? As I understand the rules, that’s one of the few acceptable justifications for retracting a bid.

Jeppo,

I agree. Definitely a fishy auction. Like you said, maybe a misplaced decimal point.

There is some chatter on HK pro about it. Basically the gun was sold a year ago. There was no mention of the "gray room" in the original 2018 listing so he could be fibbing a bit about that. Also, the threads on the barrel were originally filled with JB weld to comply with California law and there was no mention of that. Also, there were two vertical hairline cracks in the frame and there was no mention of that either.

Back up to 15 grand as a new bidder enters. Reserve still not met.

From hero to zero. Hope the seller wasn’t counting on the 25 grand.
