HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - A Huntersville fast food restaurant is closed Tuesday afternoon after police said someone was shot in the parking lot.

Channel 9 learned two customers were arguing in the drive-thru of the Wendy's on Gilead Road near Statesville Road just before 2:30 p.m. when one of them pulled out a gun and shot the other in the leg.

If they went to the hospital over there. they probably died waiting.

Went there for a separated shoulder and people had been waiting in the ER, more than one, for 11 hours

Had some people post it to the neighborhood fb group since we border Huntersville.


Maybe their frosty machine was broken and the next person to look at him the wrong way was getting shot.
