Furnace fan blowing

my AC and Heat are shut off but the fan in the attic is still running. Is this supposed to be doing this?

Stuck fan relay or bad controller board

Is it the air handler or do you have an auxiliary fan to circulate your attic?

I believe it is the air handler. I can feel air movement out of the vents.

Before @BlackGun comes along and gives intelligent advice, I’ll tell ya what I’d do. I’d switch off the breaker and remove the thermostat. Turning the breaker back on with the thermostat out of the equation would tell me the issue can’t be resolved with a $20 spend at Home Depot.

Check to see if you put the "FAN" setting on the thermostat to "always run" or "on/off" (ask me how I know this)

Ding ding ding, we have a winner! Not sure how the down stairs thermostat fan got moved from auto to on position but embarrassed I didn’t check it. I checked the upstairs one but “knew” the downstairs one wouldn’t have been touched by kid.

Check the switch on the thermostat for " auto- fan- on "

I just went through this about a month ago.

.

All fixed. Somehow fan was pushed to on instead of auto.
