Fall crud (sore throat/congestion)

Anyone else getting this stuff? Getting back to work last Tuesday after the BO M&G they're were around five people at work sick, including my helper. Starting Wednesday afternoon, I started feeling the sore throat, head and chest congestion coming on. Crap has kicked my butt this week, getting hardly no sleep, and just being in a ill mood. Loaded up last night on some good meds and slept like a baby, feeling much better this morning, except for this damn headache.

I know a few people who have that crud. Thank goodness it hasn’t popped up in our family yet. Hope you feel better soon.

This and some elderberry syrup

Had it a few weeks back when I flew out to the west coast. Takes about 3-4 weeks for it to fully go away, but you’ll start feeling better after 5 - 7 days.

I got that same crap and ended up getting a chest X-ray which came back negative to my wife’s disappointment since she said with my life insurance I am worth more dead than alive

I have had it for the past two weeks. It is just kind of lingering. I am finally just now feeling like I’m almost over it.
Just before that, a coworker and her family got tested for the flu and they had it. I got my flu shot as soon as I found out. I felt like it was really early for the flu this year.
So when this crud started, I was really hoping it wasn’t the flu, and I’m happy that it wasn’t!

Been feeling like a head cold is setting in, which sucks as I have to visit a customer of mine on Monday. ;(

I get a sinus infection every season change. It’s been less that I started washing my sinus out with a Neil med sinus rinse. I really want the nuvage powered nasal rinse.

Man, I do the same, every year, sometimes twice a year. Been using a Nettie Pot the last couple years and did go 2017 with no sinus infection at all. Not so lucky last year. I also use a humidifier a lot now to.

I had it about 6 weeks ago. Took me a couple weeks to get over it

Hottest chicken wings that won’t kill you, booze and sleep. Works every time. Although sometimes you have to tinker with the ratios.

Same here, had it the week of Sept 19. But I still have a cough that won't go away.

I think it's funny, back about 10 years ago my 80 year old Grandma had me find her some Elderberry syrup. Almost impossible! Could only find it in health food stores or high dollar wines. Now it's all the rage....

Kids had it for about three days, the wife did to, thank the Lord it passed me

Did some sudafed the last two days and feel better...knock on wood...

Got a cold 10 days ago. Thought that was it. Then last night happened. I think I've the flu. Went to the store and got some dayquil and nyquil severe vapocool. It's helping but this thing is kicking my butt.

Just gotta make it yourself

Vix Vapor Rub and put it on the bottom of your feet.
Put on socks and got to bed.

We went to an old friends house last night for dinner (yes, I told them of my crud, and they insisted we still showed up, lol), and his wife made some homemade chili. Not too spicy, but plenty enough for me. Home made cornbread, and a three layer Chocolate cake for desert. But, something in that chili opened my sinuses up big-time, and on the way home I was coughing up some massive amount of junk and getting it out. She was sweet enough to send me home with enough to feed me for a few days, and I've been eating it all day, haha. Before I went to bed, I warmed up some honey, mixed in with some Jefferson whiskey, and goodnight Irene, lol.
