PHA Defensive Pistol match is on for October, weather permitting. Expect a slightly lower round count compared to last month. This is primarily due to the logistical nightmare of trying to set up 5 complex courses in just a few hours. As always required equipment is a conventional pistol, safe holster, spare magazines/speedloaders, and at least 100 rounds of ammunition.

10346 S North Carolina Hwy 150, Linwood, NC 27299
Match setup begins at approximately 7:45am
Sign up begins at 9:00am
Safety briefing at 9:45am(ish)
first gunshot 10:00am(ish)

We will not be shooting Tannerite filled pumpkins, so don't get your hopes up.

-Isaac

Stage 1: Ding Ding

Embrace the suck. Forecast is looking more favorable for Saturday. A final determination will be made tomorrow morning.

Concur.... again, we were blessed with great weather and a good set of stages.

Isaac, you are doing a great job, and I thank you for the time and effort to make this a success.

Steve, I heard rumor that you went negative on the 1st stage ;). That is some good shooting!

When life gives you lemons......make some lemonade!

Thanks Isaac for putting on a very interesting and varied match! It was a good balance of USPSA stage strategy with IDPA scoring.

I'm looking forward to coming back after the first of the year (I'm in Wilmington for work on 11/23). I'm definitely bringing a pistol that requires fewer reloads and malfunction drills next time.
