I saw a gun on Armslist this morning for a very fair price and I sent the seller a message saying I would take it. I gave my phone number and asked him to text or call me. Not too much later, he calls me. We talked a bit and agreed on a place to meet, we both got off work at 5PM.
We met after work and introduced ourselves and he told me that he had gotten a lot of interest in his ad. He told people that a deal was pending. Some people offered him $50 above his asking price to sell it to them. He told them that he had promised to meet after work and if the deal fell through he would let them know.
So, this stranger was a man of his word. I find that pretty awesome. Many people would have taken the money and run with it. I gave this fellow a card and an invitation to join us here on the forum. I hope he joins up, he'll be a good one to have as a member.
