So,

I've been going through a bit of a phase of collecting older and different 22 rifles. Anyways one thing I'm missing is a 22 pump action.

I saw Taurus made a Model 62 at one point which was a great price point but it would appear they are no longer being made.

Anything else in that price range I'm missing or am going to go older and up the $$$$$$.

Thanks,

Brad

Remington Model 12 and Winchester 1890 are two of my favorites. I love old iron.

I don't have a pump .22 rifle, but I've seen a couple lately. They just don't appeal to me. I guess it's 'cause I like leverguns. Got a passle o' bolt actions and semiautos too, but no pumps.

Well if you have any on the chopping block let me know. For some reason I'm having a hard time passing on some older 22's.

I went through 'em last night, to see if'n there's one more to list for sale.
The only one that I have to sell is a Remington Model 41 single shot.
Haven't listed it yet.

These are awesome old school guns. I have a Remmy 12 from like 1908 I believe. Still fun to shoot and such a nice little gun. Grandad left it to me.
I like to think about kids in the hills shooting squirrels with it, when looking up and seeing their first airplane! Before passing it down for several generations...

Ditto.

I have a 12C (octagon barrel) that I inherited from my dad. He never shot it, he just bought it because he thought it was cool. He was right.

Go to Mid South Guns in Wagram. He will have 100+ to choose from.
Damn, wish I had known that. 4 or 5 years ago I had the same hankering for a pump 22 and was scouring the pawn shops in a 3 city radius for an old 572. Rarely found one and when I did they were priced ridiculous for the condition they were in. Finally found one, but would have been nice to have know a place that had a stock of older ones.

I scored and got one for free last year. Customer was moving and didn't want it.

I think it's a Rossi 62? It's so rusty though that I'm really not sure. The thing slam fires. So much fun.

I’ve got the Taurus 62 in stainless
Inherited it. It’s $500 worth of fun, but I wouldn’t have paid for it .

I have my grandpas 572 floating around somewhere. Need to dig it out and put a few through it some time.

Although expensive at first the best .22 pump for the money is a Winchester model 61. Buy a nice one, shoot it for ten years or more and sell it for a profit.
