Lend a feller a sleeve puller , anyone?

Im pulling the sleeves in my pulling tractor and doing an inframe rebuild while pulling season is over. Does anyone in the triad have a sleeve puller I can borrow for a weekend? Those suckers are EXPENSIVE!!!!
 
If you don't find one and time isn't too pressing you may consider fabricating one. They are pretty simple devices. The piece that contacts the sleeve is the only sort of complex part.

Yeah.... Thats probably what i will end up doing. Taking one of the new sleeves to them and making a base.
 
All the ones I have are proprietary to certain makes. And at work. And not mine. :D As said before simple to fabricate from stuff available at Lowes, Home Depot etc.
 
The one I used was a lot like the one in that video. The hole in the bottom piece was a slot so it would tilt and you could drop it in from above and need no assistance. I believe we had the nut welded to the frame and turned the rod, but that's just preference I imagine.
