Seeing if anyone here wants to be my partner at this match. They only go out to 500 yards and have multiple stages. $50 to enter and usually have a pretty good price table. Will have pistol ans rifle stages.

Tell me more....

I've only shot USPSA pistol matches, but this is in my backyard.

You can PM, if you don't want to clutter your thread.

I’m interested. If someone needs a partner let me know. Looks like fun.

Do they require a tripod? I thought I saw another match by these guys and that’s what kept me out. Didn’t have to the $ to shell out for a dang tripod to shoot with for one event

TRIPOD not required; he said most people use a bipod and a rear bag. I was picturing one of those high dollar open field Tripods dudes use hunting hogs or coyotes at night

I’m going to look at entering

@kcult I’ll text you about your set up and see what bipod you need

If you need one, you can borrow mine. I'd shoot this match, but the wife is out of town.

Thanks homie

Think I can get by without one but may have to work some alternative shooting positions. The day is open on the calendar....just need to make sure there’s not a last day cut off I need to make

Looks like I can make this happen

Need to load some pistol ammo....most of my loads are bunny farts and I need to load some fast movers

I’ve got enough rifle ammo loaded but I want to load some using brass I don’t care if I lose

I have a brand spanking new BOG Deathgrip tripod you can use if you do it, and we can figure out someone to transport it. McCracken is somewhat near me, I can get it to him...

There’s a match on Nov 2nd and another one the first week of December. I’ll likely be a secondary shooter at this first one just seeing how it goes but I’ll need to confirm my 224 Valkyrie dope past 400yds again prior to the Dec match (smudged my notes at the range and can’t read it  ) so I’ll probably use that if I fill the primary shooter slot. The first match will give me a better idea of what I will and won’t need. If it turns out the tripod will help, I’ll gladly borrow it. Buuuut I think I need to just get there and get the mag of the land so to speak. Thanks for the offer and I may take you up on it :D

Looks like the December match is individual and then another team match in January.

Anyone have info on what kinds of stages to expect at this place?

The tripod setups arent that expensive. I put a setup together for coyote hunting for ~$150.
$100 tripod
$30 ball mount
$20 mlok adapter

The FB link says “various props, including in a pond out of a boat, a deer stand, in a Jeep..”. Should be fun

I'm in for the December match. Does anyone have a practiscore link or other registration info?

I think he does most commo on Facebook itself because he replied daily/hourly on there.

The # on the page is (843) 622-4223

That email is the one I PayPal’d and he confirmed my payment etc so it’s legit

Can't wait to hear how it went. Let us know! I'll be there next time around for sure.

It was a great match. Learned a lot. I have pictures to post later and a description etc

The team format can either help or hurt depending on the partner. As a first time shooter I wish I’d been paired with someone who had match experience, for example I didn’t shoot an entire stage and only fired one rifle round during another because they were having issues and didn’t skip/hand off to me

My little 16” .223 was banging the same 375 and 460 yard targets all the Creedmoors were :D

I’ll take my Valkyrie next month as I already confirmed the December individual match

A couple times. But yeah, RMRs had an advantage there.
I've shot at a 2/3 human sized steel at 100 yard and got so close, but never hit that darn thing! That's far!!! lol. Even for my beloved 1911.

How do you register? Just via the FB page?

Don't pay too far in advance. He's not used to people doing that and might forget you paid.

It's not a huge deal, but it'll waste some time while he searches his records for your payment.
