Maybe I misread it. She seems to be for setting up an agency or whatever that can do "Surprise Confiscations" so that folks will NOT be aware that their firearms can or will be taken. So, for the GOOD of the (fill in the blank), there should be LAWS that are secret. There should be SWAT Teams set up. There should be SURPRISE invasions of citizens with NO PROBABLE Cause for the express purpose of gun confiscation....because IF they are warned....think what they (US?) might do.

If that gets any air play....the AR market will come back....

Just when you thought you had heard it all....I can't comment because there would be too much to say....

Fox REPORTS....People DECIDE....

OFF TOPIC....but BEST ...Punch Headline of the Day...

Epstein cremates himself while Medical Examiner on Lunch Break...Therefore NO autopsy results.....

THAT, to me, is funny....

Eh...just another celebrity dispensing political advice/views.

I’m not letting my blood pressure increase over it, because in the grand scheme of things, the political opinions of folks in the entertainment industry are irrelevant...not worth getting torqued about, yet some folks will get worked up into a fervor over it.

Let’s say her view did mean something...that politicians took her advice and ran with it. During the campaign, they shut their pie holes about confiscation...”Hell yes, we’re gonna take them!” Then, after being elected, the edict comes down...”confiscation begins today”.

Do you really think it would make any appreciable difference...keeping their scheme hidden until after being elected vs putting it out there during the campaign?

End result’s gonna be the same. Fact is, they are neither prepared nor equipped to deal with such an undertaking, which is why I refuse to sit around and wring my hands about the prospect of confiscation. There’s a world of difference between wanting to do something vs actually doing it. By some estimates, there’s what...100 million gun owners in the country?

Let’s say just 1 million of them, or 1%, are adamant about retaining their RTKBA. Tell ya what...let’s go even lower. We’ll say 250,000 out of that 100 million....0.25%, are willing to do what’s necessary to preserve their birthright...

“They” still are unprepared to deal with that.

Look...I don’t condone this dude’s actions, but in early 2013, for almost 2 weeks, a fellow by the name of Chris Dorner kept the entire State of California and parts of two others locked up in a panic....to the point where LE was arbitrarily shooting into vehicles and running others off the road simply because those vehicles fit the description of vehicles which Dorner owned/was seen driving.

ONE man caused all that...ONE.

Now...how do you think dealing with 250K folks, who’ve made a righteous decision to preserve their liberty, is gonna go?

They did go door to door and searching all the homes looking for that POS pressure cooker IED murderer in Boston.
All the helicopters, APV's and all the SWAT gear money can buy.

I understood her to say that the Dems should lie about wanting confiscation laws while campaining and then enact them when they are elected.
Too late. Beto let the cat out of the bag. :D

A secret police. That sounds familiar...

Joy is just echoing what her Democrat friends and politicians say when not on camera. If they thought they could do it they would. They only choose the incremental method because they know a real confiscation would not work. Thank God for idiots like Beto and Joy. Those idiots keep spoiling the plans of the wiser commies.

Heck, why not take it back to landowners only, yeah?
Would you be ok with that?

Sometimes...I think we should. I can’t count the times I have heard my non-property owning “friends” go on and on about new social projects that they think we can’t live without, yet the tax is coming directly through a rise in property tax.

It’s easy to order the expensive wine and lobster when someone else is picking up the tab.

I will save you the trouble of clicking the link.

Alexander Fraser Tytler

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.”

I agree, we should end women’s suffrage immediately! For far too long women have endured suffrage and it is time we all stand up for our sisters and say “enough is enough!”

I was talking to my almost 19 year old daughter and wife a few weeks ago. Neither one of them knew who Buttigieg was. Never heard of him. I told them both they shouldn’t vote because they are clueless and not paying any attention. I am still alive so I think it was a solid move.

I got into a huge argument with a liberal “friend” of mine who was posting on FB about people recruiting people to be bussed to the polling station and told who and how to vote. My perspective is that I had rather have a 10% educated voter turn out than a 90% ignorant turnout. He thought I was basically evil because I wanted to suppress votes.

I want to suppress ignorant votes

Two problems with your story. Facebook and liberal friend. Does not compute. :D

"Democrats" like her have positions that are very simple to understand. They aren't smart enough to form opinions beyond "I hate rednecks." They don't care about any potential consequences, fallout, backlash, etc.

It should be tax payers ,meaning those that have put more in than they take, should have the right to decide how the money's spent. How about adding a test? When voting do you have even a friggin' clue as to the people you're putting in office stand for???
It'd slow down the entitled "Gibs me dat" Hussein OhBummer cash flow.

skin in the game. That's the problem nowadays, not many people have skin in the game.

Indeed. Hell, I'd go so far as to say anyone claiming their "free" money from the government shouldn't be voting on whether they get more of it.

That's the emotional decision making process. It's not about intelligence. It's about what matters to the person that regulates it's value. That's also why the media plays to emotion to sway beliefs.
Just sayin'

My VA disability is tax free, does that mean I dont get to vote? My wife works 50 hours a week, she votes every election.

Yup...no vote for you...

Your wife, however gets 10...1 for working 40 hours and 1 each for each additional hour that she is taxed on.

You've got my vote! Well my income is tax free so apparently I wouldn't be allowed to vote even though I served in the military. So... Sending positive vibes!

Joy, Beto, All of them can say what they want. Talk is cheap - I really don't believe they are ready for what they would walk into if they tried to do more than talk. Read the signatures on my profile -those are more than words. They are what I live by.

I would take it to this...If you can't show where you payed Some sort of tax into the running of the government, Income tax, Property tax, or personal tax on vehicles, Something...then sit down and be quiet. We'll keep you on the Dole with your welfare handouts that the Earners are paying. BUT you have to STFU till you pay into the system.

Personally, I wouldn't want to be dependent on a government that owes $23,000,000,000,000.00 to the Chinese, and borrows 23¢ of every dollar it spends.
