Man fatally stabbed over Popeyes sandwich

Decided the other night after playing some pool "gee, I think I'll get some chicken and see what all the fuss is about".

Like 9pm and line completely around the building and halfway down Western Blvd. I'll likely never try Popeye's chicken.

Yep. Same order, minus the milkshake.

It's so, so good. And, I always leave CFA feeling better than when I pulled in. Happy employees: so rare nowadays.

Looking at the Popeyes parking lot: instant anxiety, and hand creeping towards Grock....

He should be able to. Peanut oil does not have the proteins that the meat does. My son is allergic to peanuts, as in carry and epipen allergic, but has no trouble eating Chick Fil A

Six juveniles in black hoods attacked a man in his 50s at a Popeye’s restaurant in Silver Spring on Tuesday night, Maryland police said.

The incident continued a wave of violent incidents linked to the fast food chain since it added a popular chicken sandwich item to its menu.

Police told WUSA-TV of Washington that the man’s wife called to report her husband had been assaulted inside the restaurant, suffering a cut lip.

In Maryland, Silver Spring is just north of DC, so while not Baltimore ... Maryland (along with Popeye’s “culture”) shows it’s ugly side again.

While I only know of one Popeye’s location to compare ... Chick-Fil-A’s locations tend to be way better maintained (guess that could be because they are in better demographic locations). The parking lots are free of litter and such. The building looks cleaner and better maintained ... just more appealing in appearance. That kinda caused me to frequent CFA sometimes but would also not completely deter me from a restaurant (interior cleanliness and Health Dept scores would!) but all this “thug” activity sure as hell makes me think I’d not go to a Popeye’s unless I was armed and with a friend or three who were also armed.
