Post Your Furry Friends...

She doesn't like the cold, so she decided she'd just watch some football with me :)

Looks like you’re having a little easier time watching TV than I am tonight. This is where she decided she needed to be.

Then evidently it was nap time...maybe time change already got to her.

'N too smart by half. Love 'em, but they get into/onto/outta everything.

@BillWild used to have some. He had to tape rods to their horns to keep em from getting stuck in the fence

Shi-Tzu? Shi-poo? Love those little dogs. My in-laws have one and she's full of personality.

Shih-Tzu. She is less than a month from turning 2 and is a furry tornado. The epitome of wiggle butt.

Which has taken some getting used to. We previously had one for 14.5 years. Her kidney levels tested high at 6 months, and they told us we might have 3 months left...but through nothing but managing her diet, she made it 14 years after that. We assume that issue changed her personality, as she was the chillest little snuggle-bug you could ask for. Her kidneys finally gave out and we had to put her down.

The difference in this one is breathtaking at times.

The previous one started out with a lot of lighter gray, and ended up pretty dark, with a Michael Jackson glove.

First pic is of Midnight, died at age 10 about ten years ago from complications of hip dysplasia. Recued her from the Davie Animal bunch. She weighed 65# at 2 1/2 years old, couldn't even hold on to a tug rope. Within 6 months I had her up to weight and she would eat 5 gallon buckets for fun. She was a bad ass. Weighed 116 when she died.

Second is of Cooper, died at age 7 1/2 from complications of auto-immune disease. Purchased/rescued him after Midnight died. A true alpha dog that thought he could get away with anything. Chicken Lady fixed that. He was a bigger bad ass at about 120 when he died.

Bottom is Gracie, a little female we adopted/rescued June last year. This is a sad story, woman purchased to shep puppies and gave one to her dad who was way up in age. Evidently he abused the shit out of her. Then he went to a nursing home and she put the dog in a boarding kennel, that was a compounded disaster. Chicken Lady went and got her. When she got home she would not leave CL's side. She is and was scared of all men and pretty much anything that is scary. I can barely even pet her over a year later. We got her at 36#, 6 months old. She still only weighs 50#. Her sister weighs 85, her dad 115 and her grandma 95. So yeah, she was abused mentally and physically the first 6 months of her life.

The last one is a rescue I'm going after now. He's 8 months old and 65#. I have a thing for black sheps.

Took Gracie, my current midget German Shepard, over to Pet Supermart today to meet some of the rescue sheps that Jetts Legacy Rescue had over there. She acted like a 50# bad ass until the bigger dogs started sniffing around her then she calmed down. First time she has been socialized. They have some really nice GS rescues on their website. Unfortunately the black one I wanted is already spoken for. The dog named Zeke is a cool dog but he is in the first stage of treatment for heart worms. Cyprus is wide ass open.

i know!

we spent well over 2k at the vet hospital in Winston.

I am not complaining as I miss the old bky greatly!
As hes 10 years old already also, and it doesn't seem to keep him down hes very spry still, runs around like a madman all the time, it was checked when it was smaller so we know it's a lipoma and not cancer, but still it's pretty big
