Air Rifle for a 5 year old

Bought a Gamo Whisper G2 Youth Air Rifle for my 5 year old grandson to learn on. "Youth" is a relative term evidently, as this thing was adult size. The grip was huge front to back. He could not properly shoulder it and had to hold it funny to reach the trigger. So I did some stock mods on it

We have a Daisy Buck for the younger kids. Cheap investment. We've probably been using it for dozen years. It's actually too hard for them to cock on their own when they're really little, but they get the hang of it pretty quick.
