I just saw the latest EDC thread. I really like this info. Please, take it a step further. Please, give a % that you EDC your EDC. While I understand Exactly what that stands for I am curious how many folks on here Really EDC a handgun. Help me with this.....as for me, my answer is 100% of Every day. Yes, that means sometimes I carry Illegally. What do ya'll say???

Im with you Billy, I carry basically 100% of the time. The only time you wont see me with my EDC is if Im in the water swimming. Otherwise my rule of thumb is, unless there is a metal detector, Im packing...even places Im not suppose to. Honestly, with a 365 in my pocket, there's no reason not to.

Pretty much 100% unless I am going out and having a drink. If I am going to be drinking the guns stays home.
I rarely drink away from home. But, I occasionally ask my better half to put my pistol in her purse, since she is licensed too. Then I can enjoy an adult beverage.

When I'm not in my office I'm often in no go zones where metal detectors may be involved.

But I'm in my office more often than not and my office is not a gun free zone. Actually this is the wall to the left of my desk....

After hours, out at night 100% of the time.

All the time unless metal detectors or I am going on a school campus (off the public road). Signs in NC don’t mean much. I try to avoid places where it is actually illegal to carry, except for the courthouse every 5 years to renew my carry license.

Where do I get that thing that you have the mags in?

99.5%
Unless at a destination that I flew commercial, in a school or some government buildings.
If I'm working at or around school or government property, I'm probably carrying.
I'd rather carry a weapon then drink alcohol so I'm always carrying in the evening/night.

They make one for pistol mags that looks pretty nice, too.

They make a big flat magnet that works well for steel mags. I have several of those stuck to various safes with steel pistol and rifle mags on them.

Everywhere I go, I have my gun on my hip, except where there are metal detectors.
And except when sleeping or taking a shower...lol. But a gun is within my reach at those times.

Actually that's a different company. This is what I have there.

Just about 100 percent of the time. It irritates the wife that I won't have a drink with her while we're out but I feel naked without carrying now.

I can’t carry at work, but we can have them locked in our vehicles. Mine stays in lock box bolted under my Jeep seat. I’ll admit I don’t carry anywhere near as much as I should, work is very low risk besides the fact that I can’t carry, and my ride home is 9mi/12 minutes where I have stuff at arms reach. Gives you the warm fuzzies that you feel safe enough to not have to carry, but sucks because I want to carry but I don’t go anywhere.

About 20%. Office is a no-go, then I go pick up 2 kids from 2 different schools, and I fly roughly one week out of six.

And I would never carry at one of those places that doesn’t allow it.

The company, too.

I don't go out 'to drink' these days, 'less it's to a friend's house to enjoy some tasty libations, sittin' on their porch.

I saw what you did there...….lol

I work at a posted hospital and medical school. Double whammy, so not there, but I have some rather portly, scary security unarmed officers to protect me. /sarc But after 5 and weekends, yep.

A 5".45ACP 1911 everyday. I carry everywhere that it legal to do so, when I need to go into a posted facility I secure my firearm in my vehicle and put it back on as soon as I get back to my vehicle.
