Voting for Trump

Ask any Libertarian if it is a legitimate function of government to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and nearly all will say yes. Yet they look the other way as millions of babies are murdered. Sorry, I cannot vote for that.
Not all, our fam lands in the Constitutional Christian Libertarian corner. Murdering another doesn't fit with leaving other's alone.
After hearing an interview, I was exited when Austin Peterson was running for the Libertarian prez nomination, instead the "I'll get stoned in the oral office" nutjob won. Until the Libertarians get off the Wasted Political Platform, they won't get much traction.

Ask yourself this. Can you think of anything about the current regime/system or whatever you want to dub it that is worth saving? I can’t. As much as I wish it were possible, I don’t believe we can vote our way out of this mess. The only way I see of fixing it is by replacing it and that means going down the rabbit hole.

Anything worth saving? The Constitution, with more teeth. That's about it.

But like I said, the only other option I see is to make it go bad as quickly as possible. It's been happening for a long time now, slowly enough that the vast majority are perfectly comfortable with all of the infringements on our rights, thinking they are free while living at best in an illusion (or delusion) of liberty.

If we continue on the path slowly, there will be no coming back.

Anything can be fixed.

Many times it is more difficult and more expensive to fix than to start over.

Every law that had been created can be removed. We need to start eliminating these laws that infringe on the Constitution a little at a time just like they were enacted.

I think going back to the Articles of Confederation may be an idea worth looking at. The whole push for a closer union was to raise taxes for paying the army wasn’t it? Thinking we are way past that. A stronger Federal Gov’t or document does not excite me at all.

I think we need to go back to something more akin to the articles of confederation.

Now THAT is an "AOC" I could consider!

I would have to review it again, it's been too long. But I tend to agree that a weaker federal government would be better. Of course, I think that if we actually stayed with the Constitution as written, we would be there too. That's where I say "more teeth". Perhaps something in between?

That's why I'll vote for the best, write my choice in, or not at all.
Traitor McCain was the LAST time I'll hold my breath when voting.

Same here, W was the last time I voted with the washed masses. He was a net loss to the BOR just like all the administrations before him. The current admin will be no different... a net loss.
