All the 80% lowers in the world won't prevent them from paying you a visit. I suggest getting well prepared for the visit in whatever way you see fit.
Years ago, decade or so?, back when pimping pirated satellite was the thing , "Status Symbol", many thought, believed they were isolated, insulated from any possible "Legal Action " because all these "Smart,,?" end users were going to their favorite signal pirate.
So the end users would pay said "Signal Pirate" 25 to 50 bucks and they would be good for ( hopefully ) another month or so.
So, what happened?,,, The signal pirate~s got Pinched and because of that said pirates gave Law Enforcement customer info ( some customers were LEOs, yup!) and the Law also went and raided the shops that were selling the equipment to pimp sat signal to begin with , which included "End User Info."
I case others are wondering,,, NO, I didn't play the pimp the Sat Signal game, at all. Nor did I have an illegal setup period, I paid for mine, Yup, I'm a Boring Person.
Oh, "What about the ""Wink~ Wink" and NOD -NOD?
Yah the I won't tell nobody friendship line?
Well when it's convenient to Roll on your customers , guess what, lets just say the Wink Wink Friendship ends.
So to the firearm stuff ~ situation.
Anyone that believes ( there are more than a few ) that buying an 80% lower , even with cash , from a manufacture / supplier, that they are protected / insulated from being Discovered as owning an 80% lower or possible other firearms may be if the business did not keep a record of the ( even ) Cash Transaction because if Big Bro Raids said manufactures offices, well your still on file,,, SORRY.
Case in point:
Gun store owner refuses to give feds customer list
Dimitrios Karras, owner of Ares Armor, said the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents were investigating their business, not for what they sell, but for the people who purchase their products.
Karras said the ATF threatened to shutter their business if they didn’t hand over the names of 5,000 customers who have purchased an 80 percent lower receiver (the base) for building an AR-15.

The following is about pizza, however it should get the point across
Yep - the government may or may not have a database of gun owners, but Visa and Mastercard definitely do.
Agreed
And rest assured if cc companies have your info, Big Bro has it or access to it.
