If he doesn't take I will. We're using them to teach PROPER handling and marksmanship with black powder guns.

Our website (new but being added to)

Muzzleloadingyouthtraining.org

We're also looking for support in the form of donations- either materials or funds.

You doing any geezer training?

Sure. We, as an organization, are working primarily with youth, but we worked with several adult Scouters last summer. We managed to get most of them able to shoot 8moa offhand, when they'd listen:D

Best shot of the summer was a 12yo girl.

Cold1 (Brett) is going to make this Hawken a project that he'll do with his 13 yr old son. I could not think of a better way to use it!

Makes me real glad that I rescued it from the LGS.

How did this saga ever turn out?

My 13yo decided to tackle restoring my old muzzle loader and my 11yo wanted this one. We were planning on tackling them both over the Christmas holiday. Then my 11yo broke his leg 3 days before Christmas. The projects got put on hold until he is heald up.

I shot the Cherokee 32 this weekend... 10 grains of Goex, round ball with felt wad... deadly accurate at 40 yards!

I propped a clay pigeon up against a cowpie... it shattered the clay, and obliterated the cowpie!

Mac, could you chrony that load? I'd be interested in the velocity and energy.
