What marketing genius said to themselves, "I'm sure that people would like a thinner Reese's Cup. Let's roll with it." Just more proof that civilization is doomed.

You just brightened Dawn's day, @Geezer.

She loves just about every type of food thinner. Ribeye steaks, pork chops, biscuits, you name it. Thinner.

Is it cozy under that rock? Never had a Reese's? I'm at a loss for words here.
Take him some today. Make sure they’re fresh. There is a difference

Everything thinner?:D

Because I feel like I know this crowd, I knew it was necessary to specify food.

But I will say, when I asked her a few years ago what her preference was when it came to my weight (because I've been on both ends of the spectrum), she said, not too skinny, not too fluffy. Lol.

Reesie‘s cups are my favorite.. I’ll Try these, but the chocolate peanut butter mix is got to be right.
That is what's different about the Trees, but I found that I approved.

Haven’t had the trees yet, the Easter eggs this year had too much peanut-butter, I thought it was a different kind also but the Family said I was wrong lol.

The trees are the same mixture, as near as I recall.

Jeeze @Geezer, I thought you were smarter than that.

The thinner they are, the more of them can be eaten while remaining thin yourself. ;)
I haven't remained slim for many, many years.

The ratio is off, so no, these aren't nearly as good.

I drove to the Piggly Wiggly for a box of fried chicken. Leaving the deli, I saw these on the shelf and decided to give them a try. They are definitely not as good as an original reese cup.

Wifey didn't care for them, either.

I'll probably be listing the partial bag in BST soon.

capitalism.
Offer many reeses products and make lots and lots of money

Wish you were closer.

Well, folks, I was hoodwinked. On the way to Battery Oaks I stopped and bought a pack of regular Reese's and a pack of the white chocolate Reese's because no buddy of mine will go through life without knowing the goodness of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.
When I handed them to him RS asked why I brought them. I told her Billy had never had one before. She said he's had them many times. She opens them and hands them to him and he eats them. He never knew what they were. How's that for trust?
RS did have some of the thin ones and gave us one to try. The only thing that I saw that was an improvement was that they didn't have the wrapper around the cup. This way you can eat them faster.

I find the trees at Christmas and the Eggs at Easter to be even tastier. Not sure why but there is a slight difference.
My household apparently agrees unanimously.
