Anyone have any experience or knowledge of their parts? Their prices seem ok, just wondering of the quality. Thanks

I have a barrel from them. It’s ok I guess, never really tried any accuracy testing on it. I haven’t had any issues with it and I’m sure they work just fine for someone looking to do a budget build. A couple years ago they were giving barrels away to Vets for Veterans Day and I took them up on it.

*personal side note”

They were busted earlier this year for employing about 30, if I remember right, illegal alien employees. They will never see a single cent from me and I wish they would have been shut down permanently. I don’t care who tells me what, I don’t believe for one second that they didn’t know who they were employing. In my opinion, that is absolutely deplorable of them, and I wish them nothing but the worst and hope they go out of business soon.

but, it is what it is and I’m sure someone will be here soon to try and change my mind or tell me that “it’s not their fault, they couldn’t have known, and they’re a fine NC company” yada yada yada.... don’t care, please don’t waste you’re time....

All that said, never had any issues with their stuff and they are a very affordable “local” option.

I basically asked the same question not too long ago... my take away was that you need to do you. Lots of opinions... personally, I’ll buy one as a test at some point. The price is great and they’re a local company.

Regarding the ICE raid, this was posted in my thread:
"Bear Creek Arsenal said it is cooperating and added that “Homeland Security has confirmed that our Human Resource Department had complied with all laws, rules, and regulations in our hiring practices.”

Used to be MMC which had a terrible reputation. I think they may have managed to get that stink off their shoe with the Ice raid... by replacing it with new stink.

No firsthand experience. I’ve heard of a few complaints of functioning issues, but I’ve also heard more good. I was considering a 6.5 upper from them at one time. Very cheap.

I’ve never had an issue with any AR from PSA. They’re just slow to ship sometimes, but they’ve gotten better.

Thanks guys,I appreciate your opinions. Derek8404, I understand what you are saying and will not disagree with you. It is not so much that they had illegal workers ( I am not smart enough to understand why they do not want to go through the process to become legal) and the HS found no wrong doings on the company's part, that crap goes on everyday and is not made know by the media because it does not pertain the the firearm industry. I believe they will take a jab at the 2A every chance they get. It is the quality I am most concerned with. Thanks guys.

I’ve got two builds using BCA 450 Bushmaster barrels, and both are extremely accurate using factory Hornady ammo, and my handloads. To say I’m happy with them is an understatement.

As far as illegals go, they are regularly hired by vegetable farms, slaughter houses, and furniture factories. A few years ago, workers at Smithfield Packing found out about an upcoming ICE raid. 50% of the workforce laid out that day. I don’t like the idea of illegals either, but I like to shoot, sit in my recliner, and I’ve got to eat....
