For any of you that buy them and don’t build them...for whatever reason. Here’s a couple pics to make you know you’re not the only ones. :D

These were posted in the big PSA thread on ARF in the last day or so.

Just more things for them to take, when they come for all the illegal stuff.

Better to stack parts. Lowers don’t wear out.

Just to be clear...

Those pics came from 3 different people. None of which were me. :D

If anybody else joins in the conversation with other pics, I’ll copy/paste it in this thread for entertainment value.

Tried that. Got to 3, then down to 1, struggled to maintain 1, and here I sit with more ARs than I thought I wanted haha.

It’s a problem when you’re always on the lookout for great deals, and you have extra parts laying around. Before you know it, here is AR #12.

Trying to buy the rest of mine off the books, but none of you fools will answer my WTB thread!

I have a feeling that if things go horribly wrong on Monday, that'll be the norm for how anybody buys them going forward.

Top pic roughly $3000 worth of lowers? Why? Just why? In the last 20 years all I've seen them do is go down in value.

Markets change, availability fluctuates. If someone wants to spend $3k on lowers then rock on.

I would say 60 $50 lowers now is a better investment than a Bushmaster AR right after the prices spiked years back.

However they want to spend their money is fine with me. Better to collect AR lowers than, say, nearly anything else I can think of. Well, I'd rather have a collection of old Mustangs. When I see one for $3k I will be sure to pick it up.

One of the first times the Andersons were on sale for $28.95 or $29.99 I wanted to buy 100 but I couldn't negotiate a flat fee deal on the transfers. Lower prices have spiked twice that I can remember over the last 10yrs or so.

I don't keep any un-built lowers around. They all end up turning into finished rifles.

If the manure hits the air circulator, I can always strip down an unused rifle for parts. I've got a few builds that don't see much range time anymore.

People thought these would be valuable one day too... just sayin'

Anyone who paid $3,000 for a Bushmaster anything deserves to have their children taken from them. Yes, even if it was an ACR.

I think @Burt Gummer is definitely going to need one of these if they’re released.

Much as I like the idea, That's Burt Reynolds.
Burt Gummer wore hawks caps and only recently switched to a cubs cap. And Grampa Gummer wore a derby, not a stetson.
And that's clearly Burt Reynolds

Yes. It’s clearly Burt Reynolds.

But @Burt Gummer’s name is also not Burt. :p

That’s a bummer, there WAS a dealer near you (Snow Hill) that would have, I got 4 cans through him.
