And a buddy of mine wanted to join the AR club, so he squared up what I owed, paid me the balance, and I loaned him the spare sights and an extra Aimpoint PRO I have until he decides what he wants to add to make the rifle truly his own

What’s your opinion of the cage device? Does it help reduce blast and whatnot?

The C.A.G.E works quite well considering no more than what it is. It definitely helps take down the bite that VG6 devices are known for.
Jayden(owner of VG6) spent a lot of time getting the C.A.G.E just right without affecting the function of his muzzle brakes.
