Has anyone ever had nigh sights relamped? I got a 92D with dead night sights. I emailed trijicon about it but it being sunday I'm not expecting an answer yet. Alternatives are welcome.

First, you gotta kill a few people.

Then you got to get sent to a slam, where they tell you you'll never see daylight again.

Then you dig up a doctor, and you pay him 20 menthol Kools to do a surgical shine job on your eyeballs.

Voila. Night site.

Nah. I was literally just watching Pitch Black with my son. That scene was like 5 minutes ago and when your thread popped up I was like no way, I get to use that?

On a more serious note, have you tried taking a flashlight and putting it really close to each site for about 5 minutes or so?

Sometimes direct, bright light will recharge them.

Not yet but I will try

And if that doesn’t work, it they’re trijicon they will replace the inserts for a fee.

Not sure I’d the sights will need to be removed or not.

Anybody know if Meprolight offers the same service?

Just got this back from Trijicon, if you have an integrated front sight, they will not replace it.

I hate they can't just fix your sights outright, but I did always think that the integral night sights were a design flaw from the start. Surely you can go to a gunsmith with a machine shop and get the slide cut to a standard 92A1 front sight profile. Then you would have a lot more options for sights moving forward.

If I get it done at the suggested company, it's like $300

Looks like Wilson Combat does it for around $50 per that spec sheet, unless I'm misreading it. I had some Beretta sight work done in Yadkin County at Aquilla Gun Works, you might check with them. It would save you having to ship your slide anywhere. http://acgwllc.com/about-us/
