I’ve got an early Colt King Cobra .357. It’s set up for moon clips but I haven’t been able to find moon clips for it. I’m guessing it was not this way stock but was modified by a previous owner. How do I figure out what I need and source it?

Anyone have any suggestions for grips for a Colt Trooper Mk III? Other than Pachmayr's Presentation grips which I hate, that is! I'm looking for something recoil-reducing, "grippy" for large average hands, finger grooves optional. Thanks!
