First Scales Dye Job (No Bully Plz)

So the desert tan RAT-1 I ordered looked nearly white, but it was the only D2 RAT-1 in stock. I'm more of a green guy, so I got some green Rit dye for synthetics. Roughly 45 second dip per each scale, was going for an emerald green. Factory OD green RAT-2 for comparison.

NC- Any plumbers on board? Under slab future use layout help needed.

I'm trying to decide if I want to attempt to do this myself or just track down a local guy to handle it for me. I'm going to have a shop built soon. It will be on a 4" concrete slab. Later in the year I will have a septic and well set up and need to get my sewage PVC stuff down before...

3d printed TPU wipes (and other DIY measurements)

I'm bored and my roommate figured out the settings to print TPU. I could always punch out wipes from neoprene or buy some washers but what's the fun in that? I'll be trying it out soon with different infills but I'm pretty sure it's gonna need 100%.

    I bought a lathe.

I had a little desktop lathe before. I ended up selling it and my little mills a while back. Recently, I've been having weird gun ideas and have been dependent on very helpful out of state people help me finish the projects. That was getting very annoying, to me, and I'm sure to most of them...

    Built a wooden shooting bench

I recently found these plans to build a simple L/R hand T-frame shooting bench. And I happened to have been gifted some FREE left-over treated wood from a friend's project. Wouldn't you know it, plenty of 2x12x16s and no 2x6s (the nerve...) so had to hit Low-Wes up for some 2x6x8s. Also had to...

    Polymer 80 Glock 19

I just built my first Poly80 and figured I would share for anyone who may be interested. I purchased a kit through 80pbuilder for around $450 and had it shipped to my door and had it functional within a week after buying it. A lot of people think that building a Poly80 is only to get around...

    Electrical Guys

I am in the process of wiring my shop with it's own power supply. The site where my shop is used to have a mobile home on it so there are underground wires already in place from the power co. I have bought a meter base and am mounting it on the outside wall of the shop. My intent is to come...
