Time is getting near to make some “big boy” decisions and buy a house, with that being said, I am considering letting a couple firearms go. Curious as to the general opinion of value on this 4” python. It was a actual Chicago PD officers carry gun for 20+ years and I purchased it from him. He had bobbed the hammer per department rules but I sent it to Frank Glenn to have it replaced and have the revolver checked out, it’s good to go. I still have the original hammer. No box/papers. Original grips. Muzzle wear and some pitting evident as this saw all weather and was not as rare back then as they are now. I have a number in my head, probably too much but at least with this one it’ll work when you pull the trigger and does not have QC issues. What say y’all?
