looks like more little thuglets at play. Keep calm and carry one folks. Looks like all these little punks respect is violence, so when you need to give it to them, give it to them well.
 
Wal-Mart is a great place! The Wendover store allows me to work with my wife and daughter on situational awareness, how to cover your battle buddy and arcs of fire, why pay for a shoot house when Wally World is free!

Ghetto? I don't know if that area qualifies as ghetto. There's next to nothing out there! For the time being anyway.

It's less than 2 miles from Northlake Mall, across the street from N. Meck High School, and 1/4 mile from the 485 beltway. There's plenty out there and Walmart pays millions of dollars to target an area of increased growth.

Well, it's further by road and they wouldn't put a store in an area that is in decline. As I said, for the time being. I'll further refine that for you. Other than businesses and the schools, there's very little in the immediate surrounding area. It doesn't qualify as ghetto. When they build *Robert Taylor Homes or *Cabrini-Green South, I'll agree that it's ghetto.

I'm walking in the store now...hoping the chalk outline is still there.

ETA: made it out, no damage other than the ridiculous price on greeting cards

Some updates posted in the news story:

- shootee got in a fight with several men in the produce section
- one of those men drew and fired 2-3 shots to shootees torso/abdomen
- The shooter and his friends stayed on scene and are in custody being questioned
- No charges have been filed as yet.

I'm sure there are some inaccuracies in there but you can fill in the blanks... They have security cameras all over the store.
