I read about this a few days ago. That article said that the girl who died was reportedly kicked in the head several times by the other girl. It also said that the school staff were not allowed to physically intervene to separate them. They had to wait on police. I can't imagine standing by while one student head stomps another.....

One I read said they couldn't get to them in time but since no one is talking who knows.

Had any teacher stepped in to stop it they would have been fired and charged with felony assault and battery on the students. The parents would have sued the school. For hate crime assaults.
Now the parents will still sue and somebody will still be fired.
The kids who killed the girl won't be charged. Maybe a one day in school suspension for fighting.

A politician creates a new narrative that completely exonerates staff and the other student in the fight. No possible motive for making up another story.
The investigation, including the ME report will tell the story, a's close as any investigation can without full video coverage of said event.
It is possible that the girl had a previously undiagnosed weak blood vessel that led to an aneurism. The ME report is critical here.

Indeed.
All the more reason to get one's children trained in martial arts from as early an age as possible.
Nobody ever messed with my kids more than once.

Or it could be that the parents don't want the story coming out that would check their payday. I read that they already made over 45k on a gofundme site.

Because if he same backwards logic and stupidity that brought us “zero tolerance”. The liability nannies are afraid of someone using judgement.

Teacher: “I was standing 2ft away watching, politely asking the other child to stop but I was helpless to do anything.”
Attorney: “You were helpless? Were your Arms and legs broken? Were you behind bulletproof glass? Was someone physically restraining you from helping a child in need? Please help me understand WHY you were helpless?
