Trying to find a replacement recoil pad for my 11-87 synthetic stock. Dunno if I have an odd one, but two so far have had to be returned. Mine is a police trade-in with a Minnesota Fish & Game sticker inside the hollow synthetic stock. The recoil pad may have been replaced once already. It is a gooey mess now. Unable to determine brand. It is a flat back. I don't really care about the construction of the replacement as long as it fits.....Suggestions?
Thanx

Can you post some pictures of the stock? Remington stock pads are pretty easy to come by but some of the Speed feed and others might be a bit more difficult but not impossible.

Hope these help.....the pad is what came off, can't tell if it was stock Remington. BTW don't buy from Bosley Outfitters on ebay, He would not let me return the wrong pad.
Thanx

I’m about 100 percent certain that’s a factory Remington synthetic stock and an R3 recoil pad. The only strange this that my 870 ones have a recess for for a beveled edge on the pad itself. You may need a grind to fit pad like the Limb Saver classic precision fit for synthetic stocks.

Oh I know but some of the stocks are interchangeable. Hence I was thinking the butt pads would be as well.

See if you can find a Kickeez pad and get it installed by a gunsmith. I’ve used them for years on my clay guns. They are durable and easy on the shoulder for sure. Shouldn’t take much to install one.
