I bought a pedersoli double barrel 12ga muzzle loader awhile back but having trouble finding the proper size slugs for it. Does anyone know a good place to order .69 cal round balls and patches online?

Track of the Wolf has muzzleloading supplies, so does Dixie Gun Works. Midway USA has a Blackpowder subsection.

Yike! Had no idea they'd be that pricey...

Larger diameter lead ball can be harder to find. You might try casting your own. Precut patches are relatively easy to find, but homemade often work well with a variety of lubes (some more historically correct than others).

I can cast .69 balls. If you just want to have a few on hand pm me - I'll share. If you're going to shoot it a lot you can get set up to cast-your-own for less than you can buy them.

I appreciate it, I couldn't find them on dixie for some reason but wow they are expensive!

I also cast .69 but my question is why .69? If you're using pillow ticking for a patch, it's .015 meaning using it as a patch, it takes up .030 windage. Since a 12ga is nominally .720, the math isn't quite there or is going to be very tight.

I will be 100% honest it was just what I read somewhere online I am new to this and still trying to figure it out. Thanks to @Catfish I do have some .69 and they are definitely really tight but I can get them down with hand preasure and a ramrod. Once im out of these I will definitely be trying some smaller ones, what size would you recommend?

I recommend you shoot shot from it unless you have a specific need for slugs (deer hunting?)

You can buy cards and wads here:
You need Wad-12-A, WAD-12-B and WAD-12-C

buckshot here:

and bird shot here:

I'm happy to show you how to do it at the range.

You'll need to know the actual bore size of your musket. Like shooting minies properly, it's a critical thing to know. All muskets are different. I shoot an ArmiSport 1842 cut down to Macon spec in N-SSA competition and it's bore is .690 while @Theodore Maynard has an original that measures completely different. With that information on hand, you can order different size round ball for your gun that will work better with your intended patching material. Listen to @Catfish He'll get you moving in the right direction.
