15 Round Mag - Glock 43X / Glock 48

It’s a great shooter. The Sig grip is just smaller than I like, which is crazy I know, being the capacity it is. I am just spoiled by how well the G43 runs for me.
 
Looks like they had some issues with the first batch of mags and decided to not ship them out, which hopefully is a sign that they would rather delay the release and get it right than ship a sub standard product. This product really has my interest so I have been keeping a close eye on this. They also released who is making the mags for them; it’s Checkmate industries.

Supposedly they are going to start coming in stock next week.....we’ll see if that actually happens or not. Military Arms channel finally got his hands on some and they look promising.

G43 mag is .1 skinnier (tenth of an inch) than G48 per my caliper so I’m not sure how much they’ll have to work with.

G43 has been my EDC for 2-3 years now and I’d love for them to be able to accomplish that, but the G48 is getting ready to take it’s place, at least in winter months.
 
I know this is a mag thread, but just a shout out for this sight set from Ameriglo for slim Glocks. They came on a Talo edition G43 and I liked them so much that I put a set on a G48. They come green or orange. I have both. The green is bright as heck for fast target acquisition. part # GL-351

I like those style as well. Have a set of Trijicon HDs my 43 and the Ameriglo’s on my 43X. Although I just ordered a Holosun 407K that will be going on it as soon as they come in

I may or may not have bought a Glock 43x recently pretty much because of the Ameriglo sights. :D

I bought a 48 with the Glock/Ameriglo factory sights that pretty much has the same front as above, but a square notch for the rear with tritium vials, same width as the U-Notch, and for some reason just changing from the square notch to U-notch turns the dang thing into a laser, which was my experience with the 43.

OpticsPlanet has both the green and orange sets on sale for around $60.00, plus a 12% off coupon (WDINS). I ordered a set of the orange ones, just because I like orange. Should have bought a set of each.

Grabbed the L-354’s which are the green and an Armageddon Game Changer. My cheap Caldwell needs retiring before it spills crap all over my trunk.

Next I need to figure out some sights for my P01. Not as many options for CZ.

I have the orange on my G43 and have been happy with it for three years,
until I saw the green this week that I put on my G48. It is amazing how much that green “pops”. I will keep the orange because that 43 has mystical powers and practically shoots itself.

I went back and ordered the green set, too, since I already had a 43 and added a 43X a coupla weeks ago.

And, just to steer the thread back on track, I went to the link in @NKD 's post above and signed up for notifications about the EDC kit.
 
Anyone gotten their mags yet?
 
Agency Arms and Palm Beach Tactical both had the yesterday but are OOS as of this morning.
