25 over the weekend, including 2 18yr old black female students. I guess their lives didn't matter either, just like Captain Dorn in STL last week. Last I checked, Chicago was ran by everything that BLM and the left want:

Gun Control - check
Police that turn a blind eye to crime - check
Obama/Rahm-economics-check
Deadliest single day since records kept - check

A FB friend who was a schoolmate was commenting that she has never felt more scared in her life during the St. George riots began, and was seeking shelter in her basement. She's not near the South Side either.

Fact is Illinois is lost. 50 years of uniparty control ( there's no difference between a Democrat or Republican) has caused unprecedented debt and an unpayable deficit.
As far as violence is concerned, there's a few neighborhoods that cause all the problems. Outside of them the city is relatively safe. A bunch of folks paint the whole area with a broad brush, but I can say there's a bunch of good people there among the relative handful of troublemakers that play musical chairs in and out of legal system custody. If we could actually incarcerate about 2000 people the majority of the issues would end.
