Yeah.....pictures hide a lot. We will see. I was able to blow up one pic and it appears to be the correct engine number for the year of mfg. Interior and paint are 5 years old. Rest looks 83ish! Should make a good daily driver at some point. BeCause its for sure I gotta loose the 03 tbird, way too fast for me to keep driving.

Is the because of the speed or the cars lose morals with attracting women?

Red, don't know yet. I owe yet, and bought in right below max retail value as the mileage was under 70k at the time. just got the loan on it in March so bank has title. Expected to have it longer and then mom/dad start talking about moving here and dad wants a 37 coupe or truck to play with and then.......well, If the 37 dodge coupe is a driver and/or if mom and Dad seriously move here (house hunting trip in Aug) then I won't need a long distance driver, which is what I use the tbird for.....to go to VA once per month to stay with them and help for a week. I know I'm going to sell it but probably not for a few months.

HA....the only girlie hit I had was on the way home in Feb/March. Two Blue Hairs in a Oldsmobile pulled up to the light, rolled down the passenger window and hollered, "Boy I'd like-a ride-ya in that there hot tomater!"

I smiled, waved and got the hell going outa there.

OMGosh, I always let my Wife do all the car buying paperwork, all I do is sign where she says........she's away and now I am getting a solid reeducation on just why we always had this arrangement. Almost done, just a notary and wire transfer to go.

They are not as heavy as you'd think . My 4 door is 2870 lbs upholstered and fueled The coupe should be some less.

But, yes, all steel. Including the dash which you just wipe off and pop out the dent after a crash.

Flat 6, 3 on the floor. 4.1 rear. 75 horses. Tons torque. If it runs well!

Are you buying this sight unseen, without a test drive??? Brave. I'd want to at least do a walk around and hear it run. If I can't hear and see it running, it is bought as a non-running project.

Yep. It's a dodge flat 6. Been around them all my life. Drove bessy daily for 20 years. Late 30s mopars have mechanical features that when working right make it suitable as is for 21st century daily driving with perhaps the exception of long stints on our 70 mph plus hwy. 60 mph all day should be no issue

I expect the motor and suspension to be worn.

Work is to be expected. Its 83, even the restored ones would need work. Price is right.

It's a one owner car.

This one will become a daily driver so within a year itll have either a hopped up flat 6, ohv 6 or v8. Ac too, hard to be hot all the time.

Might go a bit slower if it's a good runner with the flathead. Will see. If so, prolly first will be hei, webber carb, 12 v conversion and rewire. (Factory harness runs the full volt and amp load up to the total capacity of the battery (500+ amps on a 6v) right into the cab at the dash guage. That rewire would keep it safe and reliable at low bucks and then set the stage for whatever changes Dad wants.
