@Sneakymedic helped me inspect this donation to our Farm, then loaded it on his trailer and delivered it for us. Thank you once again, kind sir!

The donor visited last year and told us he wanted to donate a tractor. Little did I know that it was perfect! Small, includes a cultivator and seeder, and was recently restored to show quality by a professional.

My dad was a traveling parts salesman for IH a few years after that Farmall was built. He traveled upstate SC and WNC in a TravelAll.
Ended up running the IH dealership up on hiway 16 north of Charlotte in the late 50’s to mid 60’s.

Next thing I need to do is build a little barn to store that beautiful tractor!

Our church (Church of the Redeemer) bought New Garden Nurserys' original site on Old Oak Ridge Road. We already called it Project New Garden, and then we found the property at New Garden Village and bought it from New Garden Nursery.

Project New Garden is "Parrish/Park/Farm/Abbey". The Parrish is Church of the Redeemer, which meets in the Sanctuary that used to be the retail store for the nursery. New Garden Park is the name of the entyre property. It will one day be a place of beauty, the Park features being integrated with the Farm. New Garden Farm has been producing vegetables since three years ago, when we moved in. It is densely planted using Regenerative Soil methods in open air gardens as well as Hoop Houses. The Abby is a collection of over a dozen ministries that are loosely organized under the umbrella of our church, and use office space in our facilities. My gear making business is the first commercial business in the Abbey, being an example of "Business as Mission."

I am the Park Director at New Garden Park. I work closely with the Farm Director. We are currently expanding so that we can double the land under cultivation, and add a rabbitry. We are providing vegetables for about 50 families once a week. In August we will add rabbits. When things get back to normal, we will once again sell vegetables on Sundays.

Check out the Farm at NGPFarm.org

Check out the Park at NewGardenPark.org (for now it is presented as an event space)

Nice little Farmall. I used, drove, repaired my fair share in my youth.
Mike in the shop was a gallon of red paint was worth $1,000 cause it we painted a tractor the price went up that much.
I love old iron like that, even the green ones.

Some guys have all the luck! And Mac kept his eye on me, I was gonna head West on 40 instead of East, but he kept me lost til right at the last minute;););)

You need to check out this place, it is really innovative, and DEFINATELY not a traditional way to do ministry. I was super impressed with all of this!

That's a nice looking Super A. My grandfather left his 1952 Super A that he bought new in 1954, to my younger son. It has not been restored and has all the cultivators, Woods belly mower, front scrape blade and a couple other pieces I'm not sure about.

I'd love to find some more tools for a Super A... jus' sayin'!

@Sneakymedic (or was it the fellow who gave the tractor to us?) said the belly mower is a golf course quality mower. That, I have no need for, but it is interesting.

I need a bushhog... an' mebbe a log splitter.

That was Mr. Covington. Yall need a chicken laying house too. Fresh eggs.

Found two Farmall Super A plows in Kernersville today. I'll look at them tomorrow. I've been told they can be had for $80.

Also, the business next door gave me enough recovered pressure treated lumber today to build a Farmall Shed.
