    The gun has only been factory fired and is complete with all original paperwork, locking case and cardboard box it was shipped in. It is SN 594 of 1000.

    thoughts on value? Auction sites say ~$4K

    I can look at someone else's revolver. I wouldn't pay what they're going to want for it because I would have to shoot it. If I can't shoot it, at least a little, what's the point?

    If you’re looking to buy ... the early Anacondas were not the best as far as accuracy. Now that being said ... I doubt you’re looking at that one as a shooter but you don’t have to tell your acquaintance that.

    As to value ... as a collectible it’s what the next sale price is not what the last one sold for. It’s a beautiful example and should be worth a premium but how much is more how bad the buyer wants it. Personally I’d not pay what it likely is worth as a collector piece because of temptation.
