2017 NC Sectional

Big thanks to everyone that helped out and made this happen. Woulda been a great match if I'd quit disappointing myself at somepoint.
I think I'm gonna switch to cross-word puzzles or something for the foreseeable future.

Let me know if and when you're ever happy with your performance! You're killing it dude! Give yourself some credit for the work!
I dont know if I will ever be. You know how it is, always expecting more from ones self.

But thanks for the support my brother , really appreciated

Much thanks to all the ROs for making a smooth match. Shooting aside, let's talk about something serious....That five star crapper was the bees knees!

YES, it was! Nicest dang crapper I have ever had the opportunity to use. Mood music with a "sit down " air- conditioned experience absolutely ROCKS! [emoji23]

Unfortunately it was quite a walk from the stage I was working (stage 3). Therefore I could not make use of it except for lunchtime and at the end of the day. Definitely a big plus to have at the venue for all of those present to make use of.

The stage 2 crew rocked. Just saying.

With The Carolina Classic being the last "major" I plan to shoot in 2017, I intend to pickup with revolver again. I'll still shoot some Single Stack, but focus again on revolver. Hopefully the "majors" that I can compete in during 2018 will have enough in Revolver Division to be recognized, but I will have Single Stack to fall back on if not.

Gofund me a revolver and ammo and why the hell not, I'll join you. I had a couple people pitching the revolver division at the match and I would do it but I would have to buy every thing from the ground up to do so......well except a belt. I would be interested in it if wouldn't take so much money to start. I want to shoot open (or limited at least) but the money has left me in production (with a pretty nice gun I might add).

I considered this match a recovery match...I was a little out of shape from sitting around all summer by doctors orders. My score showed it...not as good as last year. But, Stage 5 was my benchmark stage. Since the neck surgery I've recovered a lot, but still don't have fine trigger control. This shows up when I have to let the trigger out to reset; it's either a long split, or an unplanned double tap. Stage 5 was Virginia Count...I new this would be the biggest challenge as I was likely to throw one away; and probably it would be strong hand only. It's a little difficult when you have to consciously think about the trigger reset on every shot. I planned to take it slow, and I probably had the slowest time on this stage for any shooter A class and up. But I wanted solid points on this stage.

Results: 21 A's, 3C's. I can build on that.

Congrats err body. Job well done
