Palmetto Gun Club will be hosting the 2018 South Carolina State USPSA Championship on May 3rd through 5th of 2018.

From R Thornton

More details will follow as we develop a plan of attack for this year's match. We are going to make some minor changes to our format to help improve the staff and shooter experience. Registration is not expected to open until sometime in January. We will make sure to give everyone plenty of notice prior to the start of registration.

We need about 45 CROs/ROs to make this match a success. More information about our staff program will be available shortly. Staff registration might be opened prior to shooter registration so that we can gauge how we will do our shooter squadding.

I might just shoot this match again now that Palmetto will have it

Hmm.... I'll have to check my schedule for this one. I missed this year (fortunately from what I hear) and it would give me a match to focus on in the 2018. I just need to start considering what division to shoot in; Revolver, Single Stack, or Limited 10... Decisions, decisions...

If they get enough staff to do the 1/2 format I will shoot it this year. I am glade I missed the 2017 match based on what I heard.

Do you have contact info for the match director?

Mcrc staff are still in their old ways and it shows...a lot. Palmetto always runs a good match. Should be fun, debating on staff or Saturday morning

Shot two majors last year and didn’t enjoy either one. I’m certainly not in contention to win anything so I think I’m just going to stick with the Level I matches this year.

Is this actually posted anywhere? Assuming Saturday is the day to shoot. Should be a good time.

Shot with the guys running the match this weekend. They didn't mention anything about the shooting schedule or when it would be released...

I’m aiming for Saturday as well. AM/PM will be decided on wife’s possible attendance.

Sat PM. No hotel room required that way.

And did I mention skrimp n grits, afterwards
