2019 Ranger + 5 Star Tuning = Impressive

5 Star Tuning out of South Carolina is pulling some serious power out of the 2.3 Rangers... 5.5 second 0-60 and 8.8 eighth mile times with their tune, no other modifications. I'm impressed.

Thats insane for that motor..... Back in the early 80's or so i dont think it made 100 hp.

The Lima 2.3 and the EB 2.3 are totally different engine families. BTW I had a turbo 2.3 Lima powered Mazda 2300 that made over 230WHP on pump gas. Couldn't get traction, or 20MPG so she went on down the road

There were 2.3 with turbos in the 1900s. They just had no idea where computer tech could carry them. I remember when Roush was using the iron bloc 2.3s to make 250 HP....per cylinder in Roush trim.

SVO Mustang's in the mid 80's made ~200 HP with a single turbo... Things have come a long way. I'd doubt they would ever do it, but a 5.0 Ranger would be wicked.
