Figured I'd share my truck since well... I'm pretty proud of it. Picked this up last Nov. and I had plans for it from the start. Recently got the ReadyLift SST 2.0 installed along with the Fuel Siege Wheels and 295/60/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers! It also has window tint, stubby antenna, Kicker amp and Sub, Cold Air Intake, and Pulsar LT.

You made those weird looking things look pretty good my man.

I can't get past the "eye" jowls of the trail boss. But it's so much better than the standard or hd versions.

Your mods make it look that much better. My compliments for sure.

Our sales guy has the same truck in a lighter grey. Before that I was appalled at them all.

But I have to say the thin, sheet metal exhaust tips bolted to the rear bumper but not physically connected to the exhaust on his example just make me frown and shake my head..

Looks good! Aggressive but not silly, and still practical for a daily driver that’ll live 95%+ on the street.

“Trail Boss”. This makes me wonder why Chevy has still yet to come out with a Raptor competitor. It’s common knowledge that the Raptor sells like hot cakes and GM has its loyalists that would never in their life buy a Ford. The Trail Boss and new ZR2 seem like sorry reminders that they refuse to try to compete. But I digress…

Thanks. The “eyes” took some getting used too but now it’s one of my favorite things about it.

Yea, it is a bit odd that they don’t connect but I still like the look. I did get the muffler swapped out so it has a super 44 now. Loud enough to notice but not enough to annoy you or anyone else.

That’s where I wanted to be. Aggressive but reasonable.

Yea, I really wish the ZR2 would have had a supercharger but I guess they just don’t care about that part of the market.

I’ve seen many full sized trucks with 30 day tags on Daniel. After a rain is another story
I took my 2010 Rubicon to Uwharrie with the temp tags still on it. Almost swamped it in the clay soup bowl. That was fun. Scared the crap out of my step-father.
I saved the rough stuff until I got the most of the mods done.

Fine looking truck

Lol, what the bank tells me I can afford and what I think I can afford are totally different numbers😁
I had a fun time explaining this to my naive wife when we bought our first house. Actually, I guess your statement could go either way haha

Didn't you just get a brand new Tacoma a couple months ago?

I’m guessing he sold the Tacoma to take advantage of the absolute insanity going on with Toyota Tacoma/4R’s right now. Probably pocketed $5k+.

Edit: transmission issues?? You don’t say LOL! That trans and engine combo sucks! It’s a shame but that’s the primary reason I sold my 2018.

It was this time last year. Only had it 5 weeks. Long and short, it had a transmission issue, sucked on gas, and was too small.

Congrats on the new truck. It looks way cooler than the old Taco.

I traded November of last year but still came out ahead with the value, what I owed, rebates and negotiations.

Think he has 75k in it yet??

I’m guessing it was a 70k truck to begin with. Nice dang truck
Nowhere near that. Sticker was $53k and we'll round up everything upgrade wise to $5k. I financed wayyyyy less than sticker after rebates, being a promo (had 500 miles on it) and equity from my trade in put it down in the 30's. Not as rich as you may think lol

Lol, I still think a good AK should be 300 bucks and you should be able to find really good help In the construction world for 10 bucks an hour
