2021 Bronco officially released

35”s stock really stands out to me, along with full skids, transfer case, piggy back Bilsteins, 10sp auto or 6+1 manual, and v6 TT 310hp/400tq.

I won’t be selling my tacoma but this is definitely a very appealing package.

And it’s nice to see how true they stayed to the concept, that’s almost unheard of anymore!

IFS and a D44?! With 35’s?! There will be regret in that warranty Dept.

Yeah, I think the 44 could be a problem, but 99.99% of these will probably never go over anything bigger than a speed bump in a Mall or school parking lot.

Hopefully this will help my Ford stock.....

I'd love to see them offer one that tries to hold true(er) to the originals, cosmetically anyway. I can do without the Bubba-Bling package.

I never could figure out tricking out a truck in NC that looks like the cover of Off-Road Magazine where everything's equipped for Baja. NC is not the desert Southwest.

NC is all about low-overhanging branches, tight-squeezes, and roll-over hazards. Not a desert. :)

Pops had a 76 bronco. Lots of memories bouncing around in the back of that thing! Seeing this new one took me back.
I definitely want one
Base model starts @ $29,000. I like that, let me ad my own upgrades.

And you can get front and rear lockers... That will be interesting to see in the IFS.

The more I read about the better it sounds. My only complaint at this point is the lack of a naturally aspirated engine.

Cv joints stand no chance against 35’s. Hell I twisted and bent d44 axle shafts on my old Rubicon with 35’s and I was as easy as one can be on it on the rocks.

If I were in the market for a new suv the new bronco would be at the top. From what I’ve read the 35’s aren’t stock but are offered in a package. You can buy the base model and add the extras like 35’s without having to pay for a higher trim package as well.

I'm checking on the 4 door Black Diamond Series with the 2.7 310 HP and 10 speed trans. This thing comes with a 4:70 rear gear. With that 10 speed it should do well.
You have to get the Sasquatch package to get where I would want to be. All together it looks like a nice vehicle.

I'm not the target market for this thing, but I do like it. I've owned two wranglers, but always a second vehicles for fun not as a daily. Can't imagine trying to live with a jeep all the time.

Do those 'base' units really ever exist? Or is it just they make 1 of those to say "starting at $X" but in fact everything that actually gets built and can be purchased is $X + 25% due to option packages? (not the fake dealer packages and 'market adjustment' crap, but I remember trying to find miatas that weren't all overloaded was hard back in the day).

I like it, but no way a locked D44 lives very long with 35s. You'd think they'd have used an 8.8 or 9" instead.

Not sure I'm keen on turbo'd 4s & 6s in this application. NA V8 would make more sense, to me.

I'd rather drive my '07 Frontier another 13 years & build up an older straight axle Ford 4x4 truck with a Windsor, FE, or BBF for getting dirty.

My local Ford dealer lets me order anything I want..exactly like I want it. Has never taken over 5 weeks.

For what 99% of these will be used for the D44 should be a fine rear end. I don’t think it comes stock with 35’s unless you get the Sasquatch package. Ford has put a lot of d44’s in trucks and suvs over the years. My ‘73 f100 had a 9inch rear and d44 front. I want to see the towing specs on these and then I will decide if it’s worth a divorce or not.

My wife drove a 1985 FJ60 for eight years. When I had a rather catastrophic mal-fortune in my 1973 FJ40 she's the one that said: "Go look at a new TJ"...

She'd be all-in on one of these new Broncos if I even hinted at it.
