    Never say "Never", friend. I thought the same thing, until I bought a brand new Tahoe three years ago. Sometimes spending money makes sense.


    The figure I read was 3500 lbs towing capacity.

    "Jeep" is a lifestyle brand these days..... Ford is apparently wanting to cut into that piece of the pie and make their new Bronco a lifestyle brand as well.


    Those old Bronco's were dam tough!!

    I do not like. Isn’t anyone capable of making a simple, straightforward utility vehicle, not styled by Mattel, any more?

    The truth is, nope.....

    All manufacturers play to the profit margin.

    Guys like us want those vehicles. If we like it we keep it until it dies 10 plus years later.

    Simple, tough, long lasting.

    But...

    They are out to appease buyers who buy every couple years. The new cool, the new tech, the new style. That is what they crave.

    So that's what dealers sell them. So that's what manufacturer's build:(

    3500lbs...thats not a towing capacity, thats a bed load rating
