I caught this video of the 2023 military parade in Vilnius, Lithuania on You Tube. Some of my take-aways from the parade:
1. Lithuania is still using M-14s for ceremonial use
2. Latvia resurrected their pre-Soviet occupation dress uniforms once the Russians were gone
3. Latvia uses Lee-Enfield #4 rifles for ceremonial use ( a surprise to me!)
4. The Baltic countries still use Soviet-era marching drill which is actually very much German style which follows since the Germans trained the Soviet army post WW1
5. The Leopard II is the sleekest MBT in use
6. The Abrams looks like an industrial killing machine
7. Doggies still carry a lot of crap in the bustle rack of their tank, even when on parade!
