I'm looking for a 223 powder that flows well through a Dillion powder measure, going to be used for bulk 50gr to 55gr bullets. Mostly used for range/practice ammo out to 200 yards.

Most any Ball powder will flow and measure fine. For common conventional 50-55s I use 26.8/WW 748 on average this load runs 52000-53000 PSI.........

Good to see you recommend this powder. I grabbed several pounds of it in December and was about to use it just for this purpose.

I have used WW 748 for 223 since the beginning of time...... probably over 30 years. Standard load was always 27/WW 748 with damn near anything less than 55 gr. Some years ago I dropped it to 26.8 because 27 was running at or just below 55000 PSI, just wanted to reduce pressures slightly, and 26.8 gives me everything I need in a conventional bullet. I find that the standard 55 gr Hornady Soft is outstanding in most of my guns with this load. Terminal Ballistics are also good for a conventional bullet. And especially good when you use the load is shorter barrels. The 55 Hornady and 26.8/WW 748 also has same or close POI with my standard load, which is 50 Raptors with 24/RL 10X. Both are close or same POI in most rifles.

I've used Win748, H335 and WC844 all without issues.

I do load my match ammo on the Dillon 550 using AR-COMP, but I do slow the loading rate way down. While it does meter well, it is a stick powder and can lead to some inconsistent drops if you're heavy handed when pulling the handle.

I’ve used Win 748 and IMR 8208 XBR. Both meter well and are consistent.
