Gang, I'm gearing up to load for my 357sig M&P.

Can folks that load it tell me your favorite bullet? I picked up a big heap of brass (thank you @carybrassguy ) at the gun show and am looking around for what bullet I want to use.

Thanks!

Lots of choices and data out there. What are you loading for? Plinking/target or defense? Personally I prefer factory for defense. RMR has good inexpensive jacketed bullets and I'm partial to their "Match Winners". I like heavier bullets, so for me something in the 135-147 weight range. Also, Blue Bullets can be good, less expensive than jacketed.

I don’t load 357 Sig, but I’ve heard good things about the RMR MPR (multi purpose round) bullet.

Valid question. I'm loading mainly for practice/play and want to stay with 125gr (ish) bullets.

That makes my data irrelevant, but I'll share it anyway. :)

A light plinking load that's reliable in my converted G23 is actually a 115gr berry's plated (because they were easy to source at the time) over 7.8gr of 3N37 which is pushing them to a staggering 1141 fps. Considering factory speer lawman is running a 125gr at 1381 fps out of the same gun, you know mine are light.

I also did a 90gr hornady XTP over 9.3gr of CFE Pistol to get 1700 fps out of the same gun. No reason, just wanted to see how fast I could push a light bullet. It's what lead me down the dark path to 9x25 Dillon.
