I know nothing about them, but maybe @Jeppo or @BatteryOaksBilly can confirm. Evidently it’s almost impossible to suppress one of these due to an odd barrel taper?

Evidently my buddy at ECCO Machine has impressed some people with his gunsmithing black magic skills.

The adapter is machined so you can use a 12pt socket. He did a similar thing to two of my direct thread adapters for Form 1 silencers that are completely tucked inside rails. Gives me a convenient way to retrieve them if needed.

Absolute genius!!!! What a clever choice for a host. Another might have been the double stack variant, 5906; both with the heft of a steel frame. The 3906 is one of those missing from my "accumulation".

Among our members with profound knowledge of the third gens are @18DAI (who, I'm confident, still carries one daily) and @Have gun-will travel (who could be carrying just about anything). Hell, this is such an interesting piece of news, we might even wake up @Prosecutor. :D

Model 59s came into being because of the Hush Puppy program during Viet Nam. They were made specifically for Tunnel Rats to clear out close spaces. They were All suppressed. Not much New under the sun.
